about The Chile Gastronomad Experience

Join us for the Chile Gastronomad Experience, a deep immersion in the food and wine culture of one of the top gastronomic destinations in the world. Journey through Chile’s spellbinding landscapes — from the coastal valleys and mountain vineyards of central Chile to the windswept beauty of Patagonia — and discover a country defined by its elemental connection to earth, sea, and sky.

The Chile Gastronomad Experience immerses you in a world where the Pacific’s bounty meets ancient Andean traditions, and where pioneering natural winemakers and passionate chefs are shaping one of Latin America’s most dynamic culinary cultures. You’ll share long table meals at family-run vineyards, cook with local ingredients picked fresh that morning, and gather around fireside feasts under vast southern skies.

Each day celebrates Chile’s wild abundance — from the crisp minerality of coastal wines to the deep, soulful flavors nurtured in the fertile central valleys. This is a journey for those who crave authenticity, connection, and the profound joy of tasting a place where nature still takes the lead.

Chile has 2,670 miles of coastline, and the cold Humboldt Current brings rich water to the shore to create a perfect home for unique fish and shellfish. You will eat fresh food pulled right from the Pacific Ocean, including Paila Marina, a hot soup filled with local mussels and clams that is always served in a handmade clay bowl. You will also try Caldillo de Congrio, a rich fish stew made famous by the renowned Chilean poet Pablo Neruda.

Winemakers in Chile have been making wine for 400 years. We will take you south of Santiago to the Colchagua Valley, where warm sunny days and cool nights create perfect weather for bold and balanced wines Chile is famous for, made from Cabernet Sauvignon—which alone accounts for 37,754 hectares—alongside Merlot, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Carmenère, Syrah and the historic País (better known in California as the Mission grape).

The Chile Gastronomad Experience is an unforgettable, once-in-a-lifetime chance to experience the authentic culture of one of the most delicious places on Earth.
