Wandering the world with an open mind, I’ve learned that love reveals itself in unexpected ways and places. It unfolds in the presence of kindred souls—blooming softly in a smile, sparkling in joyful eyes, and lingering within fleeting moments.
Embracing the beauty that surrounds us and the joy of sharing our hearts roots us deeply. In a world often shadowed by negativity, love is the essential light we need to find peace and harmony. Just as food and water nourish our bodies, love feeds our hearts and souls, sustaining our essence.
When we intend to give love fully and without hesitation, it envelops us. I’m not speaking only of passionate love, but of the gentle love from friendship, gratitude, and kindness that comes directly from our hearts. I believe in love at first sight because I’ve felt it—meeting kindred spirits who awaken an immediate, profound connection. In those moments, it ignites, and I give my whole heart freely.
Those who know me understand this deep part of who I am. This truth illuminated itself again during The Oaxaca Gastronomad Experience, where I spent a joyful week with an extraordinary group of kindred spirits. Old and new friends inspired me, filling my heart with joy. These remarkable people shined with a beauty that stirred my soul, and I never take for granted the blessing of meeting such gracious souls while doing the work I love.
I’ve realized that the more love I give, the better I become at loving. As my circle expands, my heart grows fuller, along with my happiness. Offering my heart and meeting kindred spirits to share it with is a gift I’m profoundly grateful for.
